Preparations for the Finance Run are in full swing. At Fitness Zuiver, an enthusiastic group of participants has now started a special training programme under the guidance of trainer Joey Hofstede. The goal? To show up at the start as fit, strong and confident as possible.
“Many people think running is mostly about clocking up the kilometres,” Joey explains. “But good preparation involves a lot more than that. By training specifically on technique, stability and recovery, you end up running more efficiently and with more enjoyment.”

Training together
Beyond the physical benefits, training as a group also provides extra motivation. Working towards a goal together makes it easier to keep going, especially on days when the couch looks more tempting than a training session. On top of that, the sessions spark nice connections between participants who push each other to go that little bit further.
Over the coming weeks, the intensity of the training sessions will gradually be increased. This way, the group works towards the Finance Run, with everyone able to reach the start optimally prepared. Whether the goal is to run a personal best or simply to reach the finish: good preparation makes the difference.
At Fitness Zuiver, we believe a successful run starts long before the starting gun goes off. With the right guidance, a solid training schedule and a motivated group around you, you lay the foundation for a sporty and, above all, enjoyable experience during the Finance Run.
